AWWA’s Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE19) would be held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado from 9 – 12 June 2019. The theme of this year’s conference and exposition is “Innovating the Future of Water” where professionals, students and others within the water sector, can convene to learn from each other and connect with others, in order to solve global water challenges.

1st International Conference on Water Security

 

The conference would be held from  17 – 20 June 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Toronto, Toronto, Canada.

The 1st International Conference on Water Security will welcome academics, thinkers and practitioners from around the world to present, discuss and highlight key issues and directions for change from scientific and policy perspectives, including data needs and how data can be acquired, successful public and private sector business models in different settings, political opportunities and obstacles, what the expressed human needs are, and where the knowledge gaps exist.

Global Conference for Prosperity through Hydrological Services

Co-organized by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and other key stakeholders, the main focus of the conference will be to increase collaboration, in order to improve the availability and use of hydrological services on a global scale.

It will be held 7-9 May in Geneva, Switzerland.

Participants are expected to pre-register for the conference before 4th May 2018.

The 8th World Water Forum, organized by the World Water Council and the Government of Brazil, would be held from March 18th 2018 – March 23rd 2018.

The World Water Forum is the world’s biggest water-related event that brings together all those interested in the theme of water.

With the overall aim “to promote awareness, build political commitment and trigger action on critical water issues at all levels, to facilitate the efficient conservation, protection, development, planning, management and use of water in all its dimensions on an environmentally sustainable basis for the benefit of all life on Earth”.

The World Water Forum contributes to the dialogue of the decision-making process on water at the global level, seeking to achieve the rational and sustainable use of this resource.

The 32nd Annual WateReuse Symposium will be held on September 10-13 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. Call for Papers on Estuary and Coast

The International Conference on Estuaries and Coasts is expecting the submission of research papers. All authors of selected papers will be invited to the event.

The International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES), one of regional allies of GWP China, advocates its upcoming event “the 6th International Conference on Estuaries and Coasts”, on August 20-23, 2018 in Cean, France, together with the University of Caen Normandie and the Group of Scientific Interests.

Under such theme “Estuaries and Coasts in times of Global Change”, it includes several topics as below:

  • Saline intrusion and sea level rise: measurements, modelling and forecasting their impacts to economic development and human lives ;

Water Security and Climate Change Conference 2017

Achieving water security is one of the major challenges faced by society on both a global and local level. The Water Security and Climate Change Conference (WSCC 2017) aims to build a bridge between disciplines, sectors and different groups of stakeholders.
The event will be held in Cologne, Germany from the 18-21 September, 2017. It is organised by the Centers for Natural Resources and Development – CNRD (TH Köln), the International Network on Sustainable Water Management in Developing Countries – SWINDON (TU Braunschweig) in cooperation with the Food Security Center – FSC.

20th International Riversymposium and Environmental Flows Conference

The International River Foundation, will be hosting its 20th International Riversymposium and Environmental Flows Conference in Brisbane, Australia from the 18 -20 September, 2017.

This Conference is an opportunity for those involved in all aspects of sustainable river basin management globally to share their knowledge, learn from others and collaborate – all while enjoying Australia’s stunning river city (I love the sound of that 🙂 ).

NGWA Virtual Conference – “After the Drought”

This virtual conference titled “After the Drought”, carded for the September 6th, 2017, will  provide insight into mitigating efforts used across the United States in recent drought situation. Thus, participants will learn about measures that were used to manage both surface water and groundwater resources during the drought periods.
